Research - APAC Equity - Taiwan Technology Associate

Your Role

Are you an expert in assessing value and risk? Do you love to give advice, as well as educate?

We’re looking for a Taiwan Tech Research Associate for tech hardware/supply chain research

• conduct valuation analysis focusing on Taiwan Tech sectors
• convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
• build and maintain financial models and sector database to evaluate historical information and generate projections
• provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
• remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies

Your Team

You’ll be working in the Taiwan Tech sector team based in Taipei, Taiwan. The primary focus is to identify well researched, original and actionable investment ideas in the Asian markets, and to communicate them to the bank's clients globally

Your Expertise

• previous experience in an equity research role like this, preferably with exposure to the Taiwan Tech sector
• a good handle on accounting, including reviewing and interpreting annual reports and financial statements
• solid know-how of Microsoft Excel, TEJ, and Bloomberg
• ability to develop client relationships
• inquisitive, organized and able to work independent
• bilingual language skills in English and Mandarin would be an added advantage given there will be exposure in the role across the region
• an excellent communicator, able to educate through the creation of innovative reports and presentations (you love this stuff, and it shows)
