Role Summary

Join our Fixed Income Data Strategy team and play a key role in shaping how data, analytics, and technology support investment decision-making across the Fixed Income division. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of investments, data, and strategy, helping to improve the quality, transparency, and scalability of critical data and reporting processes.

In this role, you will initially focus on analyzing and simplifying existing workflows, enhancing data quality, and helping transition activities onto strategic platforms. Over time, your scope will expand across a broader set of Fixed Income Data Strategy initiatives, giving you the opportunity to influence how data and analytics capabilities evolve across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of key data and reporting processes, ensuring they are accurate, reliable, and clearly understood by stakeholders.
  • Analyze business workflows to understand current processes, identify pain points, and align improvements with business goals.
  • Partner closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize data and reporting needs.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, enhance, and automate existing workflows.
  • Work through detailed calculations and data flows — including performance, exposures, and mapping logic — to validate outputs and improve data integrity.
  • Help reduce reliance on manual processes by introducing scalable, structured, and repeatable solutions.
  • Balance long-term strategic thinking with a practical, step-by-step approach to deliver meaningful improvements over time.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders, including investment professionals and investors, on data, reporting, and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Technology, the Chief Data Office, and the broader FI Data Strategy team to implement solutions and align with strategic platforms.
  • Support the transition of stable, well-defined processes to partner teams where appropriate.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data, analytics, reporting, or investment-related functions.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including Python, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Experience working with performance, reporting, and portfolio data.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree (CFA, Masters, MBA or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income markets; credit experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Aladdin, Bloomberg, Charles River, FactSet, MSCI or similar analytical platforms

$175,000.00-$275,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers

$175,000.00-$275,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.

$175,000.00-$275,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
