As a Senior Fixed Income Credit Analyst within the PNC Capital Advisors organization, you will be based in Baltimore, MD or Cleveland, OH.

In this role, you will be responsible for fundamental credit analysis and generating trade ideas across several corporate bond sectors.

Preferences/Skills include:

  • Credit research experience, other fixed income experience across investment grade and high yield
  • Understanding of securities analysis coupled with a broad ability to think critically and present findings
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Belief in a disciplined, team-based process and commitment to work collaboratively
  • Problem solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • CFA designation strongly preferred

Job Description

  • Analyzes financial viability and security attractiveness. Makes recommendations for specific security positions to portfolio managers. Serves as a subject matter expert in specific industries and/or sectors.
  • Analyzes financial statements of individual securities and makes effective recommendations based on results. Designs and runs securities analysis models and generates reports to support the portfolio management effort and independently draws conclusions. Makes recommendations on valuations of specific securities within the sector or industry.
  • Reviews industries and sectors with portfolio managers on relative valuation. Directs special projects as needed.
  • Communicates research and performance of industries, sectors and securities to internal business partners and external clients.
  • Mentors other team members.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $112,000.00 – $228,800.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
