Job Title: Equity Derivatives/Structured Products Attorney

Department Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Business with respect to the structuring, sale, negotiation, documentation and execution of a wide range of equity products, with a primary focus on OTC equity derivatives and swaps, cash and synthetic prime brokerage, equity and fund-linked loans, structured notes and proprietary indices
  • Advise and assist in the creation, structuring, regulatory analysis and launch of new products and businesses
  • Interpret, educate and assist with the implementation of regulatory changes that impact Equities businesses
  • Advise the Business, Risk, Compliance and others internally regarding legal and regulatory issues, developments and risks relating to Equities businesses
  • Assist with ongoing advocacy efforts relating to regulatory changes impacting Equities businesses

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with equity products, including OTC derivatives and swaps
  • Familiarity with ISDA and other industry documentation
  • Familiarity with corporate, securities, creditor, finance and bankruptcy laws and related issues
  • Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- ability to interact effectively and work collaboratively with all levels of staff and management
  • Ability to work independently and respond proactively to business needs
  • Strong team player

Pay Transparency

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $280,000 -$350,000 per year* (see below footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).
