The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Position Summary:

This individual will help execute and eventually lead Structuring on Primary CLO transactions and warehouse facilities. He/she will interact with CLO Issuers, Senior and Junior Execution team members, Middle Office and Operations, Syndicate, Sales, Legal Counsel, Investors, and Rating Agencies throughout all phases of the deal. This person will negotiate and market new issue transactions, utilize analytical tools and models to produce results and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out and eventually lead the execution process of CLO transactions and “warehouse facilities”, including the structuring, documentation drafting, cash-flow modeling, rating agency analytics, marketing and investor analysis.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Credit, Syndicate, Sales and Trading teams and with third parties such as external Legal Counsel, Trustees, Rating Agencies and Investors.
  • Communicate with CLO Manager clients and provide them with transaction updates during the transaction development and execution stages.
  • Monitor and participate in the preparation of materials to update Syndicate, Sales, and CLO Manager clients.
  • Assist junior team members in review and analysis of portfolio data and coordination on internal processes.
  • Review marketing materials for CLO Issuer and investor clients.
  • Participate in conference and investor marketing “road show” meetings.
  • Review materials for internal meetings and approvals.
  • Participate in special assignments and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • 4 -7 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Degree in Finance or a Quantitative Discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Computer Science, and/or Engineering) preferred. CFA or working on designation a plus. Master’s Degree a plus.
  • Experience working at a Bank, Ratings Agency, CLO Manager and/or experience working in a quantitative area i.e. Structuring, Trading or Quantitative Analysis.
  • Knowledge of bilateral facilities, Asset Based Lending (ABL), warehouses, and lender finances.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), knowledge about VBA, Python preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills. Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Series 7, 63, and 79 (or obtained shortly after joining).

Pay Transparency:

The typical base pay range for this role is between $175K - $225K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
