
Morgan Stanley is seeking an in-house attorney to support senior legal coverage to the securitization and secured lending businesses within its Fixed Income Division's securitized products group (SPG) and its Securitized Capital Markets Group (SPCM). This role includes advising on securitization transactions and providing legal guidance across various asset classes.
In-House Legal Coverage Position for Fixed Income Sales & Trading/Securitization and Secured Lending Coverage Attorney
Morgan Stanley is seeking an in-house attorney to support senior legal coverage to the securitization and secured lending businesses within its Fixed Income Division's securitized products group (SPG) and its Securitized Capital Markets Group (SPCM). Coverage would be both for SPG and SPCM's new issue securitization businesses and related secondary sales and trading activities. This coverage spans SPG's securitized asset classes (e.g., CLOs, CMBS, RMBS and ABS), underwriting activity for third party issuers, as well as through the Morgan Stanley shelf, and maintenance of the Morgan Stanley shelf registration statement.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $165,000 and $275,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
