The Middle Office Trade & Transaction Analyst / Associate provides operational expertise, independent governance, and risk-control oversight to ensure the timely, accurate, and complete management of transactions and collateral assets for the bank. The role has a specialized focus on Residential Real Estate and U.S. ABS Mortgage Warehouse Lending, supporting the integrity, movement, and reporting of collateral and loan documentation while ensuring effective risk management across the transaction lifecycle.
Working closely with Front Office, Operations, Technology, Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders, the analyst performs critical control functions related to collateral onboarding, mortgage asset uploads and reviews, borrowing base validation, advance rate determination, concentration limit monitoring, exposure management, and collateral movement activities. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of data maintained across LoanIQ, Loan Information Processing System (LIPS), and other internal platforms.
The analyst provides technical, transactional, and logistical expertise to support business objectives while maintaining the appropriate balance of quality, flexibility, control, and cost. Through strong partnership and collaboration across businesses and divisions, the role helps maximize operational control, minimize risk, and deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, external clients.
As a developing or established Subject Matter Expert (SME), the analyst contributes to the enhancement of operational processes, market practices, and technology platforms. The role builds and manages cross-functional partnerships to ensure business objectives are achieved in compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and evolving business needs. The analyst also supports new business initiatives and helps ensure full front-to-back operational readiness for transactions ranging from high-volume warehouse funding activity to complex structured financing arrangements.
In an environment characterized by regulatory change, evolving market dynamics, and increasing operational complexity, the analyst is expected to apply strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and innovative thinking to identify process improvements, strengthen controls, mitigate operational risk, and drive efficiencies that protect the bank and its shareholders while supporting continued business growth.
Working within the Investment Bank Fixed Income & Currencies division, the Global Financing & Credit Trading Middle Office (GFCT MO) supports Asset Based Securities (ABS) lending. The Middle Office Analyst / Associate supports the overall loan origination, collateral management, and loan maintenance process from initial trade booking through collateral intake and review, revenue recognition, daily exposure monitoring, control execution, and risk mitigation.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $65,000 - $78,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
