Duration: 10 weeks
Start Date: May 2027
The Commercial Summer Internship Program is designed to give interns a look at Citizens Bank’s culture and exposure into one of the many commercial banking business lines through project-based assignments, learning curriculum, networking, volunteer opportunities, and formal mentorship. Responsibilities will vary based on the group you’re assigned to and will leverage your unique skills and abilities.
The Leveraged Finance team underwrites, executes, and manages a portfolio of leveraged middle-market cash-flow loans, principally to private equity sponsor-backed companies in a variety of industries. Since the Leveraged Finance team sits under the Capital Markets & Advisory platform, the selected summer intern(s) will have the unique opportunity to network with the Commercial Banking interns, as well as gain an understanding of the role of the overall Capital Markets & Advisory business.
At the conclusion of the 10-week program, high-performing interns will be considered for a potential offer for direct employment into the Leveraged Finance team. Note that the Leveraged Finance team is in Boston, MA, and only candidates willing to relocate to Boston will be considered for a position within Leveraged Finance.
