Job Description
The Treasury Capital Markets team leads funding and risk management initiatives for both Blackstone as a Firm and the Funds that Blackstone manages. The team’s broad responsibilities include debt capital markets, credit facility structuring, and FX and interest rate risk management. The Vice President role will focus primarily on subscription and NAV-backed facilities and credit/debt capital markets initiatives for BX and will play a leading role in structuring, executing, and managing complex financing solutions across the Firm’s fund platforms.
- Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of new subscription and NAV-backed credit facilities for Blackstone’s Funds, coordinating with lenders, legal counsel, and internal teams to manage transactions from initial structuring through documentation, syndication, and closing.
- Manage the ongoing lifecycle of legacy credit facilities, including overseeing extensions, amendments, and refinancing, while working with lenders and counsel to update documentation and align terms with current market standards and internal precedent.
- Collaborate with BX business lines to assess current and forward-looking liquidity requirements and ongoing covenant compliance.
- Support Blackstone’s debt capital markets activities, including corporate bond issuances, by coordinating with internal teams, banking partners, and advisors on transaction execution and documentation.
- Lead the preparation and review of lender diligence materials and proactively address ad hoc inquiries from BX deal teams, finance personnel, and senior leadership.
- Drive process optimization and automation initiatives across the Treasury platform in partnership with Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to enhance efficiency, transparency, and control.
- Manage and mentor junior team members and oversee offshore support resources, establishing best practices and strengthening operational discipline across the platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a quantitative discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in fund finance, treasury capital markets, banking, or credit markets.
- Significant experience with subscription credit facilities, NAV financing and other fund-level leverage products.
- Demonstrated experience leading financing transactions, managing lender relationships, and negotiating credit documentation.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, liquidity management, and capital markets dynamics within alternative asset management industry.
- Proven experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively with banks, investment professionals, business COOs, operations teams, and senior management.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior professionals and coordinating cross-functional initiatives is strongly preferred.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range
$150,000 - $250,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
