As a Summer Analyst, you’ll learn from the several specialist areas covering equity and debt origination, loans, structuring, risk management and syndication; these areas operate within the following business units, including Debt Capital Markets (GTC), Risk Solutions Group (GTC), Sustainable Banking Group (GTC), Equity Capital Markets (CM), Fixed Income Syndicate (CM), Leveraged Finance Syndicate (CM) and Leveraged Finance (CM). No matter which area you intern in, you’ll learn from the best in the business, immerse yourself in our culture, and be involved in real projects.
On this programme, you may work on live deals and deal proposals, prepare new business presentations and earn the art of executing transactions.

To be considered for this programme, you must be in your penultimate or final year of your degree, in any discipline.
Barclays will accept applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship to work in the UK and will provide a skilled worker visa for successful applicants if they meet the Home Office’s eligibility criteria for a skilled worker visa. Successful applicants who are not eligible to receive a skilled worker visa, and who we are therefore unable to secure a skilled worker visa for, will be required to have their own legal right to work in the UK on a full-time basis from June 2027 to August 2027.
